Some one may beat me out of the gate, but my ability to be consistent blows people out of the water.

I know that in the long run, my consistency is maintainable because I set it up that way.

I’m not someone who will over do it in the short run (I know this from experience). I set goals and make plans based on what I can sustain long term and so when I commit to something it’s because I’ve actually checked in with myself and know I can handle it.

So as much as I wanted to run much longer yesterday and today, I knew my schedule and my body wouldn’t be able to maintain it long term. So I’ll keep it short and sweet for now and as I get faster with my mile times, I’ll add more.

“Over doing it”, is something I see a lot of people struggle with. Once, I had a client  get super excited about deciding to do a bike race, only for them to not heed my advice and over do it in the first few days because of their excitement and then struggled to maintain the plan and ultimately quit before the race.

There is a plan out there for whatever you want to achieve, you do not need to recreate the wheel, but you MUST be honest about what you’re willing to maintain long term.

If you’re pattern is commit, attempt, quit, commit, attempt, quit- let’s make a plan that sustainable until you actually achieve the goal. I’m currently accepting private clients for my 3 month private mentorship. If you’re tried of not reaching the goals you set, send me a message and through a brief chat, we’ll see if we’re a fit and if we are, we can start as early as this week.
