I like to conduct mini experiments on myself and the most recent was a sleep study…
The following things help me sleep better:
Going to sleep when I’m tired. Last night I was in bed before 8pm.
Using a heating pad at the foot of the bed to warm my feet. I fall asleep much faster when my feet are warm.
No alcohol. I do enjoy a drink now and then, but I sleep much better when I don’t drink, so I typically reserve the drinks for the weekends.
Waking naturally. I do not wake to an alarm, but simply get up whenever my body wakes up (most mornings between 4:30-5:30am).
This concludes the results of my study. Further research to be conducted - changes in nutrition.
