I made a decision.

I was listening to a podcast yesterday and the person was discussing the power of decisions. He made sure to differentiate between a decision and a choice. Stating that a decision, quite literally means to cut yourself off from any other option. 

As I reflected, I realized that when I’ve made a decision about something, that something has ALWAYS came to fruition.

  • My business

  • My marriage 

  • My home

  • My PhD

  • My first marathon, etc.

The success I achieved in these various areas was always preceded by the decision.

I often talk about giving ourselves a choice and the importance of choosing wisely, but I believe decisions to be even more powerful. 

And yet, at the same time, few of us make decisions for many reasons (fear of failure, fear of success, etc) but it’s the indecision that leads us to settle in life. 

Decide today that you are worthy of the life your desire.
