“Wow! We’re really doing it?!”

Said my 18 yo when he called and I told him we were purchasing a new basketball hoop for the backyard.

Initially, I was annoyed and but then thought about what he said…

He grew up hearing my husband and I talk a lot about big dreams and visions, but in his eyes saw very few of them come to fruition.

So later that day, I reflected on my own life and take an inventory of where I was “talking and not walking.”

The places where I was saying all the right things but not actually living by them.

It wasn’t a lot, but it was humbling.
